Kathryn Johnson and Angelo Guzman, also known by their stage name, K4TGR4M, are an Edmonton based songwriter duo. They label their music as Pop, with R&B, Hiphop, and Folk influences. When they play, listeners will find themselves immersed in a mellow sound that brings feelings of unity, family, togetherness, and love. Their success as regularly booked musicians was built off of playing weddings, private events, markets and being consistent participants in Edmonton’s bar and restaurant scene. They have had opportunities to work one on one with JUNO award winner Glenn Morrison, and recently participated in TD Music’s Residency Program in August 2025. This residency has inspired them to create their first EP together, aimed to release in 2026, gathering inspiration from their experiences of love, and loss, as both of them had to grieve the loss of a parent while having their daughter around the same time. The smooth, soulful, and dulcet tones of K4T’s voice, combined with GR4M’s buttery vocals and rapping have created their “unique to Edmonton” sound. K4TGR4M demonstrates a perfect example of how two individuals with unique talents and skills can be combined to create the most beautiful music and the strongest team.
